Welcome to Shinfield Cricket Club

We were formed as a club back in 1890 and play in the villages of Shinfield and Spencers Wood, south of Reading. We are affiliated to the Berkshire County Board and the Club Cricket Conference.

The club joined the Berkshire Cricket League Division 4 in 2002. The 1st XI will be playing in the Premier Division in 2008 and the 2nd XI will be playing Division 4.
On Sundays we play a mixture of Friendlies and Millennium League matches.
For those wishing to play midweek we have a team in the Reading Evening League 1st Division.

We have a thriving colts section, running U9, U11, U13 and U15's sides. All of our junior teams have been entered into the Berkshire Colts League. Coaching is held every Saturday morning (from 21st April) 10.30 - 12.00 at Ryeish Green School for ages 5+ and Monday evenings(from 23rd April) 19.00 - 20.30 for U15 and U17's at our Millworth Lane ground.
